On Sunday, November first, BBUUC will gather for a Service of Remembrance, celebrating our ancestors and making space for the experiences of remembrance, grief, loss, and love that endures beyond death. We will be building an altar of remembrance for our loved ones who have died, and you are invited to bring a photo or small memento to contribute to our altar.
Join us in celebrating our new accessible doors and the Beacon youth, Board, and community members who helped make them possible. Through this celebration, we’ll explore disability justice, accessibility, and our call to widen the circle—not only by removing physical barriers, but by widening our perception of disability and embracing disability as a natural and valuable part of human diversity.
