The Caring Committee works to tend to the health and well-being of our congregation.   From keeping in touch with home-bound congregants by mail and phone calls, to delivering warm meals to a BBUUC family in need, the Caring Committee always does their best to respond when there is a call for help.  The compassionate volunteers in this committee respond to our congregants’ spiritual, emotional and even physical needs, when called upon.

Due to the need to respect families’ privacies during crisis, much of the work this committee does tends to go unnoticed by the congregation as a whole.  Yet the work is so important in supporting each individual in the congregation.

As part of the Caring Committee team, BBUUC has several Chaplains to minister to those in need.  BBUUC also has UU and non-denominational ministers to call on when situations are appropriate.
