The Worship Team presents
“The Inauguration of a New Day”
(A Martin Luther King Sunday Worship Service)
Dr. Gary Smart, Accompanist
Dr. John Daugherty, Guest Musician, (Baritone)
When Dr. King was arrested in Birmingham, Alabama for participating in a civil rights demonstration, he laid out what was necessary for people to do to live in this new day and be the new day: To reject the myth of time. In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, the worship team will present a service centered on Dr. Kings’ vision and call to action for this new day.
