Dr. Mark Yount presents
“Intentional Death, Intentional Life”
Kris Kines, Worship Leader
Dr. Gary Smart, Accompanist
Timothy Edwards, Violin, Guest Musician
When my father decided to end his life at age 89, he had no terminal condition or chronic pain: he just had no reason to live. After my best arguments that he should keep living proved unpersuasive, I aided and abetted him. This sermon is about how I came to appreciate his intentional death, and how that challenged me to live intentionally with the same resolve. What does a life “lived on purpose” look like?
