Everyone is invited to Rainbow/Welcoming Ministry’s Zoom Ice Cream Social and Cocktail Party.  It’s Saturday, June 12, 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.  Watch for the link on the BBUUC Website and Facebook page.  Bring your ice cream or beverage or both.

Want to go wild with the ice-cream theme?  Have some rainbow sherbet (available at Wal-Mart, Publix, Winn-Dixie), lightly sprinkled with Wilton gold accent edible hearts (available at Michael’s).

Or bring the drink of your choice, with or without alcohol.  Want to go all out? Try this Tahitian Tiki, popular at Pride celebrations:

• 0.75 oz spiced rum (Sailor Jerry brand is suggested)
• 1 oz Monin South Seas cocktail syrup
• 0.5 oz lime juice
• 1 oz pineapple juice
• 1 oz orange juice
• .75 ounces of 3 Dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 pineapple slice
• 1 cherry

 Fill serving glass with ice. Fill mixing glass 2/3 full with ice and pour first five ingredients into mixing glass in order listed. Cap with mixing tin and shake and strain into serving glass with ice. Top with bitters.  Add pineapple and cherry.  Smile; you’re on Zoom.
