Hello UUCF Friends,

We had a great discussion last meeting about what most likely happened at Jesus’s crucifixion based on typical Roman practices, and why the gospel stories say otherwise. At the end of the last meeting, we talked a little bit about Bart Ehrman’s new book ” Love Thy Stranger: How the Teachings of Jesus Transformed the Moral Conscience of the West.” At our next meeting we will watch this video about the book and discuss, but feel free to have a look beforehand or if you can’t make it:
