NFAN-JASMYN Collection Announcement

The Rainbow/Welcoming Ministry of BBUUC needs your help!  We’re collecting food, clothing, and winter gear for Northeast Florida Aids Network (NFAN), which provides services and support to help reduce the suffering of people living with HIV/AIDS; and JASMYN, which supports and empowers LGBTQ young people.  A list of needed items appears below.  Please bring your items to the church parking lot between 10:00 a.m. and noon on Saturday, November 7. 

We’ll accept your donation and thank you, all from a safe distance.  If you prefer to stay in, you can order your items from Amazon or another source and have them delivered to Elizabeth DeCoux at her address listed in Breeze by November 7.  You can also donate to the “plate” cash during virtual services in October, which is LGBT History Month.  The plate cash will support RWM and help purchase gift cards for NFAN and JASMYN.   

Food

  • Canned veggies, such as corn, green beans, potatoes, sweet potatoes, collards, black eyed peas, turnip greens, and carrots
