On the 4 successive Wednesday evenings of May**, we will discuss a group of Western painters who placed mankind at the center of their work: Rembrandt (Dutch, 1600’s), Goya (Spanish, 1700’s to early 1800’s ), Courbet (French, mid-1800’s), and Hopper (American, 1900’s).

Each of those painters, in unique and transformative ways, focused on our first Unitarian Universalist principle: the inherent worth and dignity of every person.

Linda Crawford, your discussion leader, holds a Masters and ABD (all but dissertation) in the history of art, and is also a watercolorist.

Everyone is invited to join this series, or to attend only those sessions which interest them.
