December 30: “Composting: How Endings Fuel Beginnings”

December 30: Sarah Clarke-Stuart will present:”Composting: How Endings Fuel Beginnings”

Thomas More has said “we must be careful not to split ending from beginning, and beginning from ending…the pain of ending is of a piece with the exhilaration of beginning.” This talk will address the significance of embracing death and decomposition in order to initiate the self into a phase of new growth. I will explore how the natural world and gardening can help us visualize the rhythm of our emotional lives.
