About Our Guest Speaker:

Michael lives in Brooklyn, NY and is very active in social justice ministry at the historic Judson Memorial Church of New York City, where he served President of the Board, 2016-2018. He is most passionate about intersectional ministry centered in blackness, queerness, HIV/AIDS, economic justice, and emotional well-being. Note: Reverend Crumpler will be joining us for our Fellowship on this Sunday morning, so we encourage you to join us for discussion with him about his sermon and his work as Director of LGBTQ and Multicultural Programs for the UUA! The discussion will be followed by fellowship time, including check-ins and Joys and Concerns. You can find the Zoom link on our Church Calendar, or in the weekly “This Week” communication.
During this time of social distancing, when in-person worship has been suspended, BBUUC will continue our weekly worship in video format that you can find on YouTube each Sunday morning at the “BBUUC Video” channel. Simply subscribe to the channel on YouTube, and watch our weekly worship services, modified for video viewing until we can resume gathering together for worship in our church sanctuary. The worship videos will remain on the site for viewing at your convenience. New services are posted at 6 A.M. on Sunday mornings.
We invite you to submit your Joys and Concerns via email to firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday at noon of each week for inclusion in the upcoming Sunday’s worship service. Please note “J&C” in the subject line. For your privacy, we will share our Joys and Concerns using first names and last initials only.
