Transitions never cease in the life of a congregation. Ministers come and go; finances rise and fall; neighborhoods thrive and fail. This morning we explore how to manage the excitement, anxieties and frustrations of shifting times, drawing from the teachings of the Tao te Ching.
About Reverend Carlton Smith:
Rev. Carlton Elliott Smith is one of ten Congregational Life staff members serving the Southern Region of our Unitarian Universalist Association. The congregations for which he is UUA primary contact are in Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Louisiana and Pensacola, Florida. Carlton was ordained in 1995 and served congregations in Metro New York, Oakland (Cal.), Greater Boston, and Northern Virginia before starting his current position in 2013. He lives in his hometown in North Mississippi.
