About our Guest Musician:
Caleb Crowder is a bassoonist originally from Houston, now studying music performance at the University of North Florida under Conrad Cornelison – the principal bassoon of the Jacksonville Symphony. The bassoon originally attracted eleven-year-old Caleb because it is the largest woodwind instrument. Now Caleb plays for the UNF Wind Symphony, the UNF Orchestra, the UNF Tech ensemble, and various UNF chamber ensembles. He has won the Virtuosi of Houston Concerto competition, and various other musical awards.
