Alyssa Halliday will lead our service with a message by Rev. Christine Dance, Minister of the UU congregation of Phoenix, entitled “I Can’t Breathe.”
A worship service centered on our UU response to the recent murder of George Floyd and the deeper issues that underpin this horror. Reverend Christine Dance, Minister of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Phoenix, will present a special Ritual of Lamentation and sermon, there will be special original music, and a time to focus on living our Unitarian Universalist values.
About our Speaker: Rev. Christine Dance is the Minister of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Phoenix, Arizona. She is a first-year minister, having just been called to Phoenix last year. She has her Master of Divinity degree from Iliff School of Theology. Before coming to Phoenix, Christine spent 20 years in Orlando, Florida and was proud to serve as a lay leader in everything from the Worship Committee to Stewardship to managing a large renovation project to singing in the choir.
Prior to ministry, Christine was a professional Facilitator, leading innovation, strategy and brainstorming sessions for Fortune 500 companies.
