Dr. Killoran takes a skeptical look at the often-heard dismissal of UU – “Oh, that’s the place where they can believe anything they want!”

About our Speaker:

Rev. Dr. Maureen Killoran is an accredited interim minister who, for more than a decade, has helped seven congregations in five states as they navigated conflicts and engaged change. Previously, Rev. Maureen served as a parish minister in Oregon and North Carolina, two congregations that each doubled in size during her ministry. She also served as a community minister, where she developed a practice in spiritually-based life coaching.  Rev. Maureen currently serves as the developmental minister at the UU Fellowship of Gainesville. She holds Masters degrees in sociology and divinity and a Doctor of Ministry in church organizational systems. Rev. Maureen shares her life with her spouse, Peter Hyatt, a lifelong UU and active volunteer.
