January 13: Reverend Jack Ford will present: “Thirty Days of Love”
In 2009 the UUA began an interfaith public advocacy campaign called Standing On the Side of Love. As a
result, together we have taken stands on immigration justice, LGBTQ equality, anti-Muslim bigotry, and
more. In 2010, as a part of that campaign, they organized a project titled “30 Days of Love”, with the aim of
re-imagining Valentine’s Day as a social justice holiday. We were invited to engage in community activism,
social networking, and media outreach in our calls for ‘justice, equity, and compassion in human relations’.
What can we do as a community of faith to respond to this call and join this 30-day spiritual journey to
live our faith?
