Join BBUUC members and other Jacksonville residents for ICARE’s annual Nehemiah Assembly. It will be April 15th at 6:45 pm. Location will be at the Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church (10325 Interstate Center Dr.). Will you need transportation? Contact icare@bbuuc.org. BBUUC will be having a bus that will leave from the church at 5:45 pm and return afterwards if you want to carpool.
If you are unfamiliar with the organization, ICARE is a coalition of 38 Duval County congregations that come together to address citywide concerns of justice and fairness. We identify community problems and research solutions. Once a year we turn out over 1,000 people to a great assembly where we ask elected officials to make commitments to take action. This is our Nehemiah Assembly.
