BB Unitarian Universalist Christian Fellowship will meet Sunday, March 22 at 9 AM in the Forrest Church Room. The topic is “How to be a Saint”. We will listen to an interview with Kate Sidley, the author of a book with this title, and also a writer for Steven Colbert. We will hear about Catholic Saint history, weird saint stories, fake saints, a genocidal saint, an erudite woman saint who wrote the first description of female orgasm, and the dog venerated as a saint (a very very good boy). We will learn some terms such a devil’s advocate, anchorite, hermits, and stylites. All are welcome to attend and if desired, you can tell us about your favorite saint.
