This week at BBUUC….
Dec 29: The Worship Committee will present “Potlatch”
Potlatch has been a long standing Native American tradition. It is a ritual about letting go of something and getting something new in return. Before making a New Year’s resolution, come to this service! Bring an item you are ready to let go of and share your reason with the congregation. At the end of the service, everyone takes home a “new” item. And if that wasn’t enough, a potluck is being served following the service. So start 2014 off right – come, give, receive, and be in community with the ones you love!
Led by: Kris Kines • Eileen Morrison, Accompanist
This is an intergenerational service: there will not be any Religious Education for the children. They are invited to attend the service with their families. There WILL be babysitting available.
