Are you grieving the death of a companion animal? Or do you experience anticipatory grief for an animal who is dying? Even though society sometimes devalues this type of grief, it is real and can be every bit as intense as what we experience with the loss of a human friend or family member. Whether the death is recent, anticipated, or long ago, support is available.
An Animal Grief Support Group facilitated by Unitarian Universalist Animal Chaplain Elizabeth DeCoux meets first and third Wednesdays from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Olympia Brown Room at Buckman Bridge Unitarian Universalist Church. The church is located at 8447 Manresa Avenue 32244. There is no charge for this group.
The first meeting is January 5, 2022.
