In August, fifteen members of a test UUCJ/BBUUC Movie Group saw the 2008 Wrecking Crew Movie at WJCT Studios. It was a big success, and our congregations have decided to make this a regular event.
WJCT Studios is an ideal venue for our joint movie group:
- geographically convenient to both congregations with ample free parking at 100 Festival Park Ave across from EverBank Stadium
- 300 reasonably comfortable seats
- large screen and excellent sound system
- only $5 for WJCT members and $10 for non-members
- $1 popcorn / $2 sodas
- UUCJ/BBUUC hosts will hold seats in a couple of middle rows
- Box office opens at 6:30 pm / shows start at 7 pm
Below are upcoming WJCT movie options:
- Oct 7 – The Misanthrope (Hosts – Mike & Linda Plummer)
- Nov 2 – Vote here for options for Nov movies under consideration
- Dec 2 – White Christmas -Irving Berlin’s 1954 Classic Christmas Story
