How I experience my situation in life is often shaped by my beliefs about my self and my world. How many of us are living by underlying assumptions that interfere with our health, happiness or growth? Can seemingly “miraculous” cures show us how to overthrow these “governing assumptions,” to embrace new possibilities and even transform our lives?

The service will also include our annual Blessing of the Backpacks during the Time for All Ages!

About Our Speaker

Since joining BBUUC in 1997, Dr. Mark Yount has given over 125 sermons, chaired several committees, served on Leadership Development, on the Board as Trustee and Vice President, and as Youth Advisor for most of his time here (one of his great passions). Mark has a Ph.D. in Philosophy and taught college philosophy courses full-time for 12 years, before a second career in addiction treatment administration and helping homeless/at-risk people apply for disability benefits. He is now retired and writing a book entitled Wisdom on the Way: Seeing Ourselves Whole through the Worldview Wars.

About Our Musician

Mike Bernos is an accomplished businessman, musician, producer, and writer. A singer/songwriter of many genres, he is the founder and plays with Spice & the Po Boys and Ample Angst. Mike is a member of BBUUC, the husband of Annabelle Gallois-Bernos, and the father of Joachin.
