Broad Brush Strokes and Filtered Light

Eric J. Moore, PhD presents

Linda Mowers, Worship leader
Dr. Gary Smart, Accompanist
Garrett Kaplan, Guest Musician, Piano

Art causes us to pause, to attend. Just as a photographer sees the world in a certain angle, a certain light, and captures moments worth sharing, a poet molds words to convey emotion, so do faith traditions reflect upon and refract light, mystery, and wonder of the human experience. Living in community is like spending time at a museum. There is joy in seeing other’s light, engaging with other’s wonders. In art and in faith: the human experience is made to be shared.
