Gandhi said, “Be the change you want to see in the world.” Redirecting our spiritual energy to draw it in rather than pushing it out electrifies the impact we make on the world around us. A star’s sparkle is fueled solely by its own inner strength and it exudes that strength for millions of miles, guiding billions of people through their darkest nights. Like the stars, we need to nourish the sparkle within ourselves to truly live our values and be the change we wish to see in the world.

About Our Speaker:

Caitlin Regan has been a member of BBUUC since 2017 and is currently member and co-chair of the Worship Committee. She is a marketing compliance manager by day, but also volunteers with NAMI, the National Alliance for Mental Illness, and is a member of the Jacksonville Symphony Chorus. She enjoys hiking and spending time with her two favorite people: her two children, Robin and Christina.

About our Guest Musician:

Garret Kaplan is an accomplished pianist, composer, and record producer. He is a student at the University of North Florida studying Music Technology with a Conducting Certificate. Garret is a student of Dr. Gary Smart and Dr. Erin Bennett. He is the winner of numerous awards. Most notably, the 2023 UNF Piano Playoff. In his spare time, he enjoys painting, photography, and cooking.
