Our Annual Religious Education Sunday Service is for all ages and focuses on our children and the children’s religious education (RE) program. It’s also an opportunity to recognize those who teach and volunteer for this vital ministry. The Mission of the BBUUC Religious Education program is “To foster Unitarian Universalists who understand the value of community and faith by creating connection, friendship, and a sense of belonging.” Join us to celebrate the children of BBUUC and all who nurture them.
“Faith development happens all the time. From a young age and continuing over a lifetime, our moral, ethical, spiritual, and religious self is shaped by encounters we experience and our own responses. Religious education, however, is something different. It is intentional faith development.”

Lifespan Faith Engagement for the UUA and editor of the UU World Families section
Special Music by BBUUC Youth Tyler Kidd:
Tyler is a teenager in the Beacon youth group here at BBUUC. He has been going to this church since he was very small. Playing the piano is something he loves, and it has been that way for most of his life. He is currently studying classical and jazz piano at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts.
