June 22: Dr. Mark Yount will present “In Indian Footsteps”
The fate of Native American peoples is America’s other shame. You and I come too late to bear that guilt, but perhaps we can gain perspective: on our history, our selves, our world. Our UU spirituality draws on the Native
Americans, especially in our 7th principle. Can we honor them by how we walk in their footsteps in our world today? (Mark will return from the youth “Trail of Tears” trip a week before giving this sermon.)
Led by Linda Crawford ▪ Accompanied by Gary Smart
A New Member Ceremony will take place during this service
