This week at BBUUC….
June 16: Liz Teal will present ” Reproductive JUUstice: a Love Story”
The term ‘reproductive’ is almost exclusively viewed by media and by most of who hear it as relating to the female, the feminine, or to women in general. We are now accustomed to terms like reproductive freedom, and reproductive choice – yet we often equate them with the feminist movement or only with women. Last June we saw the election of Reproductive Justice to an official Congregational study action.
This Father’s Day let’s wrestle with the deeper, fully inclusive term: Reproductive Justice, even as we contemplate ‘Our Father’ both near and far.
Led by: David Dean • Accompanied by Amber Rodriguez
This service will include a Hymnal Dedication
